October 2019

Each month, this page will feature my top credit cards and the reasons why you should consider them.

Chase Sapphire Reserve

With a sign up bonus of 50,000 points, an annual $300 travel credit, 3x points on dining and travel, and the ability to redeem points at 1.5 cents each, this card is easily my top recommendation for those looking to get into the world of credit card points.

Chase Freedom

With a sign up bonus of 15,000 points and rotating quarterly 5% bonus categories, this no annual fee card is the perfect complement to the Chase Sapphire Reserve.

American Express Gold

American Express recently revamped their Gold card, and it now has huge points earning potential with 4x points at grocery stores and restaurants. In addition, there’s currently a 35,000 point sign up bonus.

World of Hyatt Credit Card

One free hotel night every year more than makes up for this card’s annual fee. Plus, Hyatt often runs promotions that make this card even more worth while. For the summer, for instance, World of Hyatt credit cardholders get 10% back on their points redemptions at Hyatt hotels.
